Next we cut to one of my least liked scenes in the movie. Markus is at a zoo looking at a wolf. I think the wolf is supposed to symbolize predatory urges and cardinal lust that one pedophile is presumed to have. I find this imagery to be way too heavy-handed and on the nose and *mapmisiac. In an otherwise progressive and nuanced film, this is one of the questionable choices.
